The department has clinical practice for students in the own  Father Muller Mental Health Centre, a 125 bedded tertiary care hospital and Vailankanni De-addiction centre, a 52 bedded ward for  treatment of alcoholics and drug abusers, which are a part of 1050 bedded Father Muller Medical College Hospital.
